Outreach Projects
We sometimes hear about community projects that we want to support. We currently are involved in two. For details, click on the link to the specific page.
Knitted Neck Gators
We're supporting a military wife who had set an initial goal of providing a knitted neck gator for every member of her husband's unit by Christmas.... that was 155. Knowing she couldn't knit that many on her own, she had asked for help. With the support of our shop and others, she has far exceeded that initial goal and is now managing an effort to provide them to more soldiers. We stock the recommended yarn and collect the completed gators here at the shop for delivery.
Knitted Charity Hats
The weather is getting colder and many children are in need of warm clothing. We are accepting hand knitted hats to distribute to local elementary schools and shelters.

Bremerton Mission Project
We've had such success with our other outreach efforts that we've decided to initiate another one. We'll be accepting hats, scarves, socks, gloves, and mittens to be delivered to the Bremerton Relief Mission to distribute to needy recipients in our community.
